Interlink successfully negotiated with the Czech State Authority to secure a ten-year license for the first national, mobile, microwave frequencies awarded to a private corporation anywhere in Europe.
In addition, Interlink:
- Designed and implemented live news capabilities via terrestrial, mobile microwave.
- Designed two vans to facilitate microwave transmission and related communication. These were identical to US-built news vans.
- Vans were designed to couple with a larger OB van to combine capability while providing microwave transmission of sports, entertainment, and major newsworthy events.
- Assisted with the negotiations with PTT for ongoing shared frequency coordination responsibilities.
- Provided site surveys in Prague and assisted in negotiations with PTT to permit use of the State broadcast tower.
