TV Markiza was built as a serial digital plant using analog videotape formats. All passive wire flows, patch fields and connectors were installed as ready for SDV. Video production switchers and active electronics were digital. The station later underwent a full-scale upgrade to digital VTRs.
Interlink provided the design, construction and operational training for TV Markiza. The work for this project included:
- Technical, production, and news operations.
- A complete range of architectural, engineering, operations, and budgeting activities.
- Provision of the full technical framework for the development of this station from the foundation to the roof top satellite farm.
- Requests for Proposals for television facilities.
- Analysis and negotiation during installation and capital purchases.
- Supervision of the preparation of facilities, program material and staff during network launch.
