Interlink was responsible for all technical aspects of the launch of a 10 channel system. Interlink provided engineering, consulting, operations, and project management services to ensure the successful and timely launch of Hotelevision. Interlink continues to oversee post-launch technical operations including the Hotelevision Video Delivery Network and Traffic and Scheduling activities.
Interlink provided the following:
- Full technical framework for overall development.
- Development of Cue Tone Insertion System for triggering national commercial breaks, in 10 cable networks, for all commercial avails in every hour.
- Detailed project time line.
- Developed and documented Hotelevision's broadcast standards for picture quality reception and transmission.
- Assisted in developing budgets, vendor RFP's and contracts.
- Planned and supervised installation of traffic and billing system.
- Provided Hotelevision with detailed operating procedures.
- Acted as liaison between Hotelevision, Miralite, Scientific-Atlanta, and other vendors.
- Coordinated Network Launch.
- Continue to provide Post-Launch Technical Management.
